RainDance
RainDance National Golf Course, located in Windsor, Colorado and designed by PGA Tour Champion Fred Funk and golf course architect Harrison Minchew, is one of the longest courses in North America and was voted one of the Top 10 New Global Courses in 2022. While the course has been open for more than 4 years it has been operating with a temporary clubhouse and a stand alone bar and grill. OPI has been hired to help develop the more than 300 acre site and design a number of unique guest accommodation structures starting with main Lodge.
The RainDance Lodge and Resort located in Windsor, Colorado will be developed around the RainDance National Golf Club to create a premier golfing destination. The golf course provides a beautiful backdrop to this campus-style resort providing amenities for guests and golfers alike, each building providing a unique way to experience the area and the scenic views. The main Lodge supports both the resort and the golf course providing a golf pro shop, a Spa/fitness area complete with locker rooms and saunas, theatre, kids club, and restaurant/ bar with the best views on site. The lodge also provides private guestrooms and suites on the upper level which overlook the golf course and the Front Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
The resort includes a variety of guestroom accommodations, ranging from private cabins to large suites, each bringing in different local aesthetics speaking to the historic farming community of Windsor. Additional buildings include a farmers market pavilion flexible for event use, a unique open air chapel overlooking the 12th and 18th greens as well as the 10th tee box, and a separate refreshment shack which serves the one of a kind Goat Ranch putting green, largest in the nation.
